SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

This policy describes how Salsbury Engineering, Inc. (“Salsbury Engineering,” “we,” “us”) handles mobile phone numbers and text-message (SMS) information in connection with our internal crew dispatch messaging program.

Information we collect

We collect the mobile phone numbers of our field employees, provided by the employee during onboarding or employment, so we can send operational dispatch text messages (job assignments, site addresses, shift start and stop times, crew lead contacts, and safety instructions) and receive replies.

How we use the information

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to operate the dispatch messaging program described above.

No sharing of mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is disclosed only to the service providers that help us deliver the messages (for example, our SMS gateway provider), strictly to carry out the messaging service, and for no other purpose. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties for their own use.

Message frequency, rates, and opt-out

Message frequency varies based on work scheduling. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information below.

Data retention and security

We retain mobile numbers and message history for as long as needed to operate the dispatch program and meet business/legal requirements, protected with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
